- This spring, the city council is launching a new bike hire scheme.
- There will be 300 bikes available at 40 stations across the city.
- To use the bikes, you'll first need to download our free app.
- The first 30 minutes of every journey are completely free.
- After that, it costs 1 pound for each additional half hour.
- Bikes can be returned to any station, not just the one you started from.
- All the bikes have lights, a basket and an adjustable seat.
- Children under 14 are not allowed to use the scheme.
- We hope the scheme will reduce traffic and improve air quality.
